About Tim Newton

I am a lifelong Alaskan (except for a few years "outside") perpetually enthralled with Alaska's unique natural beauty. I carry a camera, lenses, and tripod about on frequent treks throughout the Alaska wilderness, often in the Chugach Mountains near my home. I am mostly drawn to conventional landscape photography - subject, light, composition, and color. Occasionally I'll get the opportune shot of wildlife as I trek about, and sometimes - but infrequently - I travel outside Alaska, where of course my camera accompanies me. :-) I am always updating images here from recent treks, and look forward to seeing you here again soon! Best wishes! Tim Newton

This is absolutely stunning my friend... what a place we live in!
Tim Newton replied:
Thanks, Mark! Yes, I feel more and more fortunate that my parents had the good sense to call this place home! :-) This was almost the very last photo I took after a long hike up McHugh Creek. Saved the best for last that day, maybe. :-)
