Here's a spray of Devil's Club I happened upon in the rainforest North of Girdwood, Alaska. Devil's club has surprisingly sharp, strong thorns on the tough fibrous runners, and slightly less robust thorns on the underside of the leaves and their stems. At least they don't seem to have barbs on them, so they come right out, in my experience. But even so, you won't forget. :-)
