Description
Here is Sleeping Lady (Mt. Susitna) awakening on a crisp autumn morning with a covering of fresh snow, as if she'd pulled her sheets up in the night. In Alaska we have a name for the first snows in the fall that cover the tops of nearby mountains; "Termination Dust". They got that name because they signal the "termination" of summer.
