Description
Bent and broken in places by winters of Alaska's weighty snows, but mostly mended and still strong, a massive birch leans over a small pool in its nearby creek. In this wilderness garden pool, salmon fingerlings and grayling flit about, coolly shaded by the birch's leafy, outstretched arms.
