Here are False O'Malley (center) and O'Malley (left) mountains of Alaska's Chugach Mountains. This photo was taken in mid-winter Alaska darkness, lit mostly by the moon, with a bit of warm glow from Anchorage city lights added in.
I find the photos like this that I've been taking recently very interesting. They are long time exposures taken when it's extremely dark, but look very much like they were taken mid-day. In fact, you might not even be able to tell without the stars showing in the night sky. There is some other subtle difference from daylight photos, however, that I haven't been quite able to put my finger on. I'm calling these "Daylike" photos.
