Description
Twice per day, with each high tide, this grassy marsh fills with the silt-laden seawater from the Turnagain Arm of Alaska's Cook Inlet. Then, when the tide goes out, this miniature waterfall forms as the marsh water drains back to the sea.
This image was captured in RAW format at full resolution with a Canon 5d Mk III camera, 16-35mm f/2.8 L II lens, tripod stabilized, 30 mm, 3.2 sec, f/16, ISO 100, 16.5 MB, 3740x5611 px.
