Description
It's amazing that such flower gardens can thrive on a high North-facing cliff on a mountain in Alaska. Here is a garden of Moss Campion (the purple flowers) and Ross Avens (the yellow flowers) that has claimed a crevice as home on a shear cliff face along the climb up Steamroller Pass, at the 5,000 ft level in Alaska's Chugach Mountains.
