Description
Here is the marge of Grizzly Bear Lake just before sunset, deep in the heart of Alaska's Chugach Mountains.
I've been asked if I planted the flower there. No, the flower is totally untouched and exactly as found at that spot. It was one of only a handful on the marge of the lake, here. I was quite pleased when I was able to find a good composition to include it! :-)
This image was captured in RAW format at full resolution with a Canon 5d Mk III camera, 16-35mm f/2.8 L II lens, tripod stabilized, 16 mm, 0.6 sec, f/22, ISO 100, 19.3 MB, 3580x5369 px.
