Here is The Wedge, again; one of the Chugach Mountains near Anchorage, Alaska, reflected in one of innumerable ponds beneath its crags. This photo was taken near sunset toward the end of a chilly autumn day in which I entirely circumnavigated The Wedge, stopping for new compositions every few minutes, and warming my hands in my pockets in-between.

I am a lifelong Alaskan (except for a few years "outside") perpetually enthralled with Alaska's unique natural beauty. I carry a camera, lenses, and tripod about on frequent treks throughout the Alaska wilderness, often in the Chugach Mountains near my home. I am mostly drawn to conventional landscape photography - subject, light, composition, and color. Occasionally I'll get the opportune shot of wildlife as I trek about, and sometimes - but infrequently - I travel outside Alaska, where of course my camera accompanies me. :-) I am always updating images here from recent treks, and look forward to seeing you here again soon!
